# Prune > Prune (Prune Money, prunemoney.com) is a personal finance app that finds every subscription and recurring charge on your credit cards and bank accounts, shows what each one costs a year and when it next charges, and helps you decide what is worth keeping. $49 a year after a 14-day free trial. Prune is not a "cancel everything" app. Some subscriptions are worth it; the point is knowing what you pay, for what, and when — so you can keep the ones that earn their place on purpose. ## What it does - Connect a credit card or bank account through Plaid. Credit cards work as well as bank accounts, and are where most subscriptions are charged. - Prune finds recurring charges automatically, including small and once-a-year ones that are easy to forget, and shows the yearly cost of each. - Shows what is about to be charged, while there is still time to decide. - Emails when a new subscription appears or a price goes up, a short weekly roundup, and a look at the month ahead. - For a subscription you decide to drop, Prune links you straight to the provider's cancellation page and tells you if it charges again afterwards. Prune does not cancel subscriptions on your behalf. ## Privacy and security - Read-only access through Plaid. Prune never sees your bank login and cannot move money. - Prune requests transaction data only. - Prune earns money one way: the member's subscription. It does not sell personal or financial information, does not earn affiliate commissions, and does not take a cut of anything you save. - US accounts only, currently. ## Pricing - One plan: $49 per year, after a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial. - Email reminder before the trial ends, and 30 to 45 days before each yearly renewal. - Cancel online in one step, any time. - Full refund within 30 days of any charge, including renewals, for any reason, from inside the app. ## Links - [Home](https://www.prunemoney.com/): what Prune is and how it works - [Example dashboard](https://www.prunemoney.com/example): the real dashboard with made-up data — see it before connecting anything - [Start a free trial](https://www.prunemoney.com/login?mode=signup) - [Terms of Service](https://www.prunemoney.com/terms) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.prunemoney.com/privacy)
